Rules and eligibility: To qualify for double interest on the cash balance in a HealthEquity HSA, a HealthEquity HSA holder must transfer or roll over at least $250 in a single transaction to a HealthEquity HSA from an HSA held by another custodian. Beginning in the calendar month in which a qualifying transfer or rollover is posted to your HSA, double interest will automatically be credited to your HealthEquity HSA each month until the maximum promotion benefit of $25 per account is reached.
